If you thought pumpkins would be MVP this October, think again! According to reports, October is actually PEACHtober!
That means the Louisiana Peach Festival and several other events will take place during October 2020…so much so that we decided to give you a breakdown of what’s happening. Here is everything you need to know:
Oh, snap!
- The month starts with “Pumpkins in the Park.” Carve a pumpkin and bring it to Railroad Park between 3 and 6 PM on 10/2 (update – there will be multiple PITP events). Join the community in a pumpkin-lighting event at 7 PM. Thank Downtown Ruston and learn more HERE.
- Participate in NCLAC’s ARToberfest and enter to win beer for a year (10/9). Learn more HERE.
- Next, challenge yourself to a virtual 5k (10/10)…you can register HERE.
- There are 2 Peach Festival hunts this year…one takes place on Friday (10/23), the other is on Saturday (10/24).
The Louisiana Peach FestivalPEACHtoberfest arts and crafts show will take placeinside the Ruston Civic Centerin Railroad Park/Sexton Lot, Park Avenue Downtown on 10/24. - 2 acts are scheduled to play at PEACHtoberfest 2020. Zach O’Neil will play at 5:30-6:30 PM, and The Chee-Weez will play from 8:30-10:30 PM.
- NCLAC will continue its film series with a virtual showing of Up From The Streets on 10/29 at 7PM. Learn more HERE.
