Homemade Mint Peach Tea Recipe

During the 2020 Louisiana lockdown, we spent lots of time experimenting with tea recipes. We created a dry peach tea (now on sale) and a few other blends, but one of our favorites was a Homemade Mint Peach Tea we brewed using 3 simple ingredients–tap water, canned goods, and mint clippings. You can drink it hot or cold depending on your personal preference, but it tastes just as good either way. Get your supplies ready–here is our secret to Homemade Mint Peach Tea!

Materials

Ingredients

  • 8 oz water
  • 1 can of peaches
  • 5-7 fresh mint leaves
  • Honey

Tools

  • Saucepan
  • Measuring cups
  • Tea strainer

Directions

Start by pouring the water into your saucepan. Next, open your can of peaches, measure out 2 tbsp of syrup/juice inside, and it to the water. Set over high heat and bring to a boil.

Once your tea base is boiling, remove from heat and add the mint leaves. Let steep for 5-8 minutes, add honey to taste, and enjoy!

If you prefer cold teas, you can stick it in the fridge overnight and drink it the next day.
